For the reach stacker that has been used for many years, the spreader is prone to severe cracks, especially the important structural parts such as the left and right telescopic boom box bottom plate and T-beam. If the same cracking problem occurs repeatedly in local welding repairs, we suggest that you Replace the left and right telescopic arms. Considering the high cost of replacing the left and right telescopic arms, we provide a self-repair method.
1. Repair plan and implementation
(1) Required materials
Use welding consumables that meet the standards AWS: A/SFAS. 1 E7018 or A/SFA 5. 20E71-T1, use manual arc welding or CO2 gas shielded welding for welding, and use 16Mn steel plate for reinforcement.
(2) Repair steps
First, clean and repair the external cracked parts. Clean all suspicious cracks on the spreader clean, and use magnetic powder for flaw detection to determine the specific conditions of the cracked location. Welding cracks according to the welding process requirements, after welding, use an angle grinder to smooth the weld that needs to be ground, and perform anti-corrosion treatment after the weld is cooled.
Secondly, according to the actual situation of the spreader, strengthen the outer part of the welded telescopic arm T-beam. For the lower side of the outer T-beam of the secondary contraction arm (no need to add m on the upper side), a steel plate with a thickness of 8 ram is used for reinforcement and welding. After the weld has cooled down, perform anti-corrosion treatment.
Third, strengthen the box girder on both sides of the telescopic T-beam. Use carbon arc gouging to plan off the surface steel plates on the box beams on both sides of the telescopic arm T-beam, and weld two 8mm thick steel plates inside to make the telescopic arm T-shaped. Box beams on both sides of the beam are reinforced. When welding, each steel plate must be welded to the steel plate body of the telescopic arm, and the left and right sides of each end are welded in the same way. After the reinforcement welding is completed, the steel plate at the cut part shall be re-welded and treated with anti-corrosion treatment.
Then, strengthen and weld the inside of the T-beam. Two pieces of 12mm thick L-shaped steel are used respectively plate, strengthen and weld the inside of the T-beam of the left and right telescopic arms. Before welding, the cover must be cut off with a carbon arc gouging. When welding, first repair the internal cracks, and use an angle grinder to smooth the weld marks.
After that, each steel plate is welded to the body of the telescopic arm steel plate (the welding method is the same for the left and right sides of each end).
Finally, re-weld the cover plate, reinforce other cracked parts of the welding spreader, and carry out anti-corrosion treatment.
2. Repair effect
According to the above repair plan, the repair work of the reach stacker can be completed after careful operation by the maintenance personnel of the machine repair shop. It can eliminate potential safety hazards, save purchase costs, and achieve the desired results.
